Your configuration is pretty good. Tell how many channels do you want? You should go for a 3 channel trainer with a dihedral to learn. Go for FT- Old Fogey , it's a fun plane and takes a lot of beating.

Or you could go for 7x4 , 7x6 , 8x4 , all of the above combinations are pretty good. The 10 inch propeller on that motor is a bad choice. It draws a lot current.

And can you plz suggest any other alternative plane that takes less depron.thanks

You can use ecalc or other calculators to find the prop size. The above said were good. You can use the 9 inch one , but its only that, it is not a very good combo.
You could build the tiny trainer https://www.flitetest.com/articles/flite-test-tiny-trainer

If you really want to use less depron, then go for a flying wing with fins. But, that will not be a good choice as it won't be easy to fly it. But, it is not impossible to fly. You could fly it. But, it depends on the pilot itself whether you copy it or not.

Hi...The build for the ft fogey is a bit tough for me . Do you have any other suggestions ?

prabal276

FT old fogey is the easiest build out there! Trust me! i have built many planes. Its the easiest.
another thing is that a 2200 mah battery is too big for the old fogey. you need a 3S 1000-1300 mah battery

I have only 1 battery. Is there any disadvantage of using a powerful battery ?

manu

If you have access to corro / sunpack... Make this
It flies with a 3s lipo and the motor is 1000kv.    http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/beginner-spad/
even crashing requires a flight......

2. Cost

@knvshrm,
If you are planning to use some items from your quad for use on your first airplane build, PL DON'T.
Any damage will ground BOTH.

Pl indicate what equipment you have for the airplane (excluding what is on the quad)
Motor (make, model, max watts or max amps, kv, whatever details you have)
Sizes of props you have
Number of cells and mah of your lipos
Amp rating of ESC
Servos, how many and what size/weight
Do you have depron? What thickness and size?
Do you have any balsa? If so, sizes
Do you have any carbon fibre rods/tubes? If so, sizes.

As I said in your other thread, if your quad is ready, lets concentrate on that.

Building your first airplane can wait for a few days.
