Due for flight testing and trimming will post vedios on successfull flight.

Since posting a PDF plan would be a violation, posting a Photo of plan
and some more build photos

Anyone interested in PDF Plan please PM with email Id

VC

Dear Colonel, we missed you. welcome back. My Depron F 18 is exactly in the same state. Let's complete them both together. What is your expected date of first flight?

I had bought them from Mr Sai RCFORALLIN. I dont know wether he has them now. Please check with Mr sai on latest stock position

Thankyou Mr Astha, Krish and Ashish for your compliments.

The gear used for spray painting is a gear used for body art painting, Finger nail painting, cake painting, and of course Model painting. I had bought it from ebay international. It is available in Tower Hobbies, Hobbycity and some times back in indian ebay also. It is used with a Micro 0.3mm spray gun.

I am posting photo of the same please.

Dear Akky,

Here are the pictures of the landing gear closeups. it is a very simple fixed gear with front wheel on a 2.5mm GI wire bend to a 'U' and rear wheels fixed on a carbon fibre 4mm square tube with same 2.5 mm GI wire forming the axle.

Both fixed to the model using hot glue.

 Dear Mr Astha,

ebay.in link where the airbrush compressor is available in India. This one has a air storage tank also in addition to the compressor which I have. I had bought it for about  Rs 5000/- along with airbrush from Hongkong ebay.

However this link does not have the airbrush attachment. it is only a compressor. Airbrush will cost Rs 2000/- more each

VC

Sometime in 2008, I was bitten by the airbrush bug and I researched it till the cows came home and went to sleep! I have made my own compressor for the airbrush from a tyre inflater available on the net. It costs around Rs.500/- and works fine for imprecise jobs. It doesn't have a storage tank. I also bought a storage tank from a local refrigerant parts shop and added one way and two way valves. Once I got it functioning, I quickly lost interest and have stored it all away. I am shifting residence soon and can't unpack anything now, otherwise I would have posted pictures of the entire assembly. The airbrush was from Mumbai - Pilot product. I will try and provide the links.

his is the compressor that I used. Not precise but it works. You have to time the release button on the airbrush to get a nice smooth flow. Needs a bit of practice but can be done without spending Rs.10 K for a professional set up.

Second alternative is to use this: Fast, economical and zero maintenance.

These are the 2 airbrushes that I have:

Nice VC

I thought Airbrush are not at all available in India. good airbrushes in the link

How did you buy from them ordered them or bought in person? and at what cost?

VC

Apologies Colonel for hacking into this thread, please excuse my impertinence.

Another link: Check the Motorcycle paints section.

Only thing to be careful here, aerosol paints contain thinner which may attack depron/bio foam. Test it on a piece of scrap first. Perhaps, if we use laminated depron/bio foam, it may not affect it. I've never tried it, though I have some cans of aerosol paint recently smuggled in from Imphal, Manipur @ Rs.90/- per can.

Sir, if my memory serves me right, I paid around 3.5 K for both the brushes. Give me moment and I will try to give you the contact person's email id.
