thanks Bhavesh, Raj, Satya, Roopesh and Swizera.
It was a quick build with min efforts to beautify, (only packing tape, carelessely stuck) so it does'nt look well finished. Let me try flying it and if good will make another one taking more time to finish. thanks

thanks everybody. Cannot keep a plane at home more than two days w/o maidening. so took out though the conditions were bad. Very windy and gusty.

here is a video. just a proof that it flies. need few fine tunings to make it fly nicely.

thanks for watching

hello astha,
I am also making this type of plane .... just wanted to ask what material you used to build the plane.
Fuselage seems to be thin as compared to the strength required ... what did you do to strengthen.

hello saurabh,
i used 10mm depron 2 pieces sandwitched. For strength i embedded a 3mm carbon rod inbetween.

rastsaurabh

where do i get depron sheets..... i know some people selling on this forum but then its better to have from reliable source. I might visit Bangalore so if you can tell me a place in bangalore... also which shops i can search for this??
for example  - building insulators etc.... for my plane i am using simple thermacol which i think is too weak + making radar and stabilizer from this will be very very fragile.

Also i noticed the FIN of your plane to be too thick with no radar... was it before finish or you used it that way ..

rastsaurabh

also what is the material to cover ( red color) is it used to just give smooth surface or strengthening?

Ashta

when i maidened i did noy have the Rudder. Later i added it.
I do not know where u can get depron. I had some old stock.
I use coloured tape. it gives strength as well as aethetics.
With only thermocol iy may be difficult
