This is based on the Whale design but modified slightly to include a function landing gear. The Whale was a success but I felt that it could do well with a landing gear. This however would mean forgoing the low cg design and use a conventional design instead. The fuse construction will be same as the Whale due to it's simplicity as well as light weight. The same wing will be used as of Whale.

Motor mount fixed, electronics access door made, Motor/ESC fixed...

  looks good so far

Have used 3mm foam in mine too.

Model is almost done, but no newspaper here in office  Will post final pics in the evening.

Horizontal/Vertical stabilizers attached, servos/push rods mounted, Wing holders attached

Landing gear made, landing mount fixed, tail skid attached

Model ready, Decals applied 

AUW - 199gms.

Maiden possibly tomorrow if weather permits.
