Sorry to report evidence of poor quality control in my favourite makes of motors.

Hint for newcomers coming across motors that do not run straight out of the box - either dead, or juddering, or oscillating: check the soldering on the wires. Learnt this from my friend John two years ago when my new DT700 just oscillated and didn't run.

Edit: corrected on verifying that cold solder in the other case was not manufacturers fault.

Iyer sir, from where did you bought these Emax motors?
Bcoz there are lot of fakes are available for these products.
AFAIK these motors doesnt comes with bullets pre-soldered.
Source: i bought 3 from rcd and they didnt come with bullets. upon my advice johnnywalker8pm also bought a bunch from banggood and these didnt come with bullets soldered.
(Coincidentally, recovered one of my year old emax 2812 with wires twisted and snapped on crash, resoldered them and they works just fine. need to find 3mm C clip for them. these motors are bang for buck. )

Yes Iyer sir.

Even Emax is my favorite too. I bought few from RCDhamaka and few from Banggood. They all are without bullet connector.
Really these are very good option for beginners.

@v2 eagle
Thanks Ashok.
You were right. I had forgotten.
This motor was from a fellow modeller, who brought it to me to check why it was not running. He confirmed today having done the soldering.
