Greetings
I had bought the following things from hobbyking sometime back. I had bought all the electronics which complemented each other. The following is the list of the items in that order. I am selling it now because my college is ending and its packup time. I'm leaving the hobby now.
I used to fly during my semester vacations, so i made the aircraft according to these specs in one semester vacation then my father got posted out of the station and then i couldnt find a place to fly. The following electronics have had only one flight.

All the best my friend for your sale.

This is second such sale I am looking at:
I am really surprised how anyone can leave HOBBY?  :)
Hobby is what we love to do when not doing Curricular/Professional activity. So If I leave Hobby I will have nothing left in my life except earning and living.

If you've use the term 'leaving Hobby' to make your sale thread lucrative then its a different case.

whatever ways it is, all the best
:-)

@asinghatiya
Thank you for your concern. This is what i love about the RC India community everyone looks out for each other.

I am leaving the hobby in the complete sense. I want to now earn and live. My college is ending in a few months and i want to sell off these electronics so that others can use it and above all i can give a portion of the money it back to my dad, not that he needs it but because everytime i see these things in my room unused i feel a guilt about the fact that i spent so much of my father's money which i dont think that i will have the time to build and fly again. If i had bought these things myself then it would have been a completely different story.

I dont have any kind of experience in selling things because till now I always gave my things off to my juniors in college but this time i cannot do so because the cumulative cost of all these items is high. If you have any suggestions regarding how much i should sell these things off for i would love to hear about them.

On a different note, I also live in gurgaon during my vacations. Where do you stay? I live in sector 56.

granted... its been used just once and most of the things are in their sealed packages still... its considerably cheaper than how much i paid to buy the whole package when i bought it...

I disagree. One can always leave one hobby to pick up another :)

Good decision !though i am sure your father wont mind you keeping'em, i wont mind if vineet does, else you can dump it with me at Shillong or at Dehradun (My sasuraal). if going back to tambaram you can dump them with nirmalendu too,

All the best

Gusty
PS
wish you keep'em and fly'em whenever you can, it is a great stress buster

Good evening Sir
I am sure he doesn't mind but I'd like to take stock of the matters at hand and sell off all the things. I feel this is the least I can do for him, myself and the RC items, all of which I love so dearly. I hate to put a price on any of them but I must.
Good to hear you have people in Dehradun.
My father is no longer posted in Tambaram, he is now posted in Delhi. So going to Tambaram it out of the picture now.
I would love to return to the hobby, but not right now. I shall do that once i'm settled. I wish/intend to focus solely on getting settled now.
Till then I will look to my other hobby for stress busting : astronomy. I invite you to see some pictures I took with my telescope https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151344722105591.814894.811205590&type=1&l=c477bc016a

Good pics there esp of Saturn, not to mention the 6 pack abs,
Astrophysics (somehow didn't particularly like observational astronomy) was my chosen field for specialization.... until nation called.

PS
Wouldn't mind the motor though

Observational astronomy incidentally is my favourite part. I can sit with my telescope at hours at length. I can sit without my telescope for hours at length seeing the night sky also. :)

Sure, I can keep the motor for you. I'll add your name in the list of the people to sell the items to in the chronological order. I am preferring to let all of it go in sets though. Would you like the ESC and/or Props and/or prop adapters also because they all have been bought to complement each other?

Nice to know that we share some alternate interests other than RC / Modelling. I use a Konusmotor 90 on a Equatorial Mount and use my Sony Cybershot (still) and modified webcam (movie) for  astro photography. Must share notes someday.

naatumach

Sir, we must!
You can see the adapter i designed and made for my sony cybershot on the lathe using teflon. I use my sony cybershot for still and video. I did try using my webcam but it was not able to work that well.

Modified my Webcam by cutting and hot glueing a 35mm film case, as an adaptor, after unscrewing / removing the lens from the webcam. Used a Logitech V-UM14 webcam. Got fantastic results - could see the moon ACTUALLY moving across the screen as the motor drive tracked it to perfection. My PC has been formatted since then, I will try and find that video and the Saturn/Uranus/ Pleiades/ M42 Shots.

Must upgrade my hardware now. RCIndia has killed all interests since I joined it on 3/11/2009. :banghead: :giggle:

By the way, now is a good time to start tracking Saturn again, with a 20% shift happening now. The best phase will be around 2015/16/17 and by then I plan to upgrade to a 250mm reflector. The next perfect opportunity will present itself around 2044 and I don't think I will be around then. :)

Here are some old shots, hope you like them.

By the way, can you arrange for a similar cybershot adaptor for me? I will pay for all expenses. Please PM me the details. I will use an old Cybershot DSC 730 for this purpose.

Extremely sorry for having hijacked this thread. My apologies.

1. Speaking of 2044, i am waiting for 28 July 2061 to see the halley's comet. I will be mighty old then!  ;D
2. No issue of Hijacking the thread, at least its in circulation. I really need to unload 'all' my things.
3. Regarding the adapter i will send you a PM for it.
4. Excellent photos there
