Hi guys i would like my HK-7X 2.4Ghz 7ch w/ 5 Model Memory TX & RX V2 (Mode 1) and its new not even opened from the original
packing
reason for selling is , i need a 10ch radio for my quadcopter project, and i bought for trial to check with costums
used and check only one....

price 3400/- no bargain ....

one more note , this better then turnigy 9ch because its a spread spectrum radio, turnigy frequancy spread radio, so u can only use 2 trunigy radio at at one one time
so better,

Where have you see that more than 2 units cannot be used together ?  Is there any link/website that you can reference which says so ?

The reason I am asking this is that the Turnigy 9X version 2, from what I read, is a frequency hopping radio, and should not have such restrictions. At least not a ridiculously low number like "2".

Hey your concept of two radios only is wrong :) However your price of 3400 seems very good.

hemanthtguru

i was written in HK written in transmitter reveiws itself

hemanthtguru

may be , but SST is better frequency addressing... so can find any one to buy the radio at that price

Ah, that explains it :)  So it is in the review, not in official product description.

My humble suggestion is to take anything written on any forum (including this one) or user reviews/comments with a bucket full of salt, and do not make recommendations based on such information without double checking with other sources.

If you can point me to the review, it would be helpful, I can't seem to find it.

Nope, I didn't mean that :)  It is just something we need to be aware of, that reviews can be questionable, HK deletes bad reviews from time to time, reviews are intentionally malicious at times etc etc.

A hard number like "2" would require some justification, as it is completely against our common sense in going for a 2.4ghz radio !  That itself should have raised red flags for you.  If only 2 radios can work, why not go back to the old Mhz systems ?

Just curious, why do you need 10ch for a quad ? At most you need like 5 channel for the flying part itself.

my quad requires a 10ch 5 channel controlling the quad, 1 channel to adjust front with changeable front [u need a magnetometer for that], 1 mode switch , 2 camera pan and tilt that accounts to 8 and 1 for the lighting control and 1 to switch of and switch on xbees for telemetry xbee is power eater and i use xbee 900 rsmpa 4 mile range. how ever 10 ch is also good for futher expansion

After going through the manual of this Tx I have found that this 2.4ghz Tx is similar to the synthesized RF modules and synthsed RX on 35,40,72mhz bands. Only diff is in the freq band ,here it is 2.4 ghz.
Working is similar to the old/new cordless phones which would automatically change the frequency of communication between the hand set and table set after each call.
Here also every time you bind to rx the frequency is diff every time, but once binding is done there is no hopping of frequency, the freq of communication is the one at the time of binding and remains as such till off,on and binding is done again..

So Hemant is some what right, about the limitation of two Tx on same field.

I am surprised that there are no takers for this brand new set at such a low price. Hemanth, just hang in there.

Which one are you talking about ? HK 7X or Turnigy 9X ? Hemant was talking about the Turnigy 9X V2 as having the limitation, and it seems to be clear that Turnigy 9X V2 is frequency hopping (so it should not have such restrictions).
