This is from Outer Zone, a RCM design by Dick Tichenor circa 1982

Made a few changes - reduced the fuse height to 5"from 6"(not counting canopy) and of course being a Corro model, the internals are entirely different. Retained the other dimensions, and wing/stabilizer shapes

Pretty involved tail build, the horizontal stab has a (functional) aerofoil. This is as a little extra lift on the tail is integral to the design. The stab span is also 25 1/4", so rigidity is important. The same holds true for the vertical stab, which is also massive

Decided to go for a built-up horizontal stab, and to use 4 + 2.5 mm corro at 90 degrees for the vertical

Thermocol in the wing-tips.This is then coated with a thin layer of epoxy to make it fuel and (other) corrosive adhesive proof
