Dan Santich is in the RC Hall of Fame as a designer of note. Many of his designs were kitted by Midwest Models, especially the famous "HOTS" series.

This was something different from him, so decided to give it a shot

Not much of a build log.

To get the Double reflex aerofoil, first I planned to make foam cores with a hot wire cutter, then sheet them with balsa. Unfortunately, my skills with the hot wire are not good enough, so that was abandoned - pretty fast!

I built in corro then, using an extra spar to try to get the double reflex

Maiden was done successfully yesterday. Extremely fast model - tests an old man's reflexes!

Very stable flier, very nimble and sporty. Just needed 2 clicks of downtrim, and flew true

Hey! You should consider electrifying your plane ;D PS: Global Warming.

I guess it's much simpler to convert a gasoline plane to electric than a car or something like that. Looking forward to see that build soon!

Well, here I am, so dumb ;D

Such a majestic collection!

sanjayrai55

Don't be so harsh on yourself. Not dumb, just uninformed  ;D

Aravind298

Probably. I'm not a 'plane' guy. Multirotors and Batteries are my interests. So, have to definitely get started with planes, I believe.
