Hi Guys,
I am right now on a QUAD-COPTER build.
My quadcopter is flipping or banking right when taking off and eventually the quad will tilt and the props hits the ground. Its been several times.
I need my quad to take off vertically. Can anyone help me please ?

Why did you start 2 threads on the same topic? Anyway, if you are sure motors and props are correct, try upgrading the firmware on the kk 2.1 to Steveis 1.19S1 or RC911's AIO R4. Even my first quad was flipping on takeoff until I upgraded the firmware.

I am using
QUANUM CARBON FIBER T-STYLE PROPELLERS
The props and motor are in the correct direction.Checked three times.

KK2.1.5
   HW Ver 2.1
   FW  Ver 1.9S1
   Steveis
Found this when the KK powers up.

Also I flew my quad without activating SELF LEVEL

I too had an issue with my quad flipping when running the 1.9S1 firmware (which came preinstalled). Try upgrading to 1.19S1 or RC911 AIO R6 (my preference). You will need either an Arduino or a USBasp to upgrade.

Try to adjust for the banking before taking off. When I fly my quad, I have to operate the roll/pitch stick in the top left region to be stable and vertical, because it banks right by default. Try holding the roll stick to the left when taking off to correct for banking to the right and then see if your quad goes up vertically.

My quad does like this instead mine flips right .

1) Are your props installed correctly? CW for CW motors and CCW for CCW motors?
2) When connecting your ESCs to the FC, did you follow the motor layout correctly? Mine was flipping because once I connected the ESCs in the wrong order.

My propellers are installed correctly.I checked them. Also the mototr directions( Did before mounting props ).
I installed props using this pic : http://www.pyramidmodels.com/shop/shopimages/props%20rotation.jpg
Connected all the wires correct and motor layout also correct ( using X-quad ).

I had this exact issue with my quad, my props were installed incorrectly and that's why it was happening. Unfortunately you're using KK2.1 so I cannot help further (I use APM) but I'm sure someone will help you fix the issue. Good luck.

I will check as you guys are saying. What if I am wrong ?
