After reading all the posts above i got a idea  >:D

why not start a competition cum exhibition by rc india itself?
where all are invited  to race as well as display their creations?
i think RCIndia can contact airforce or some airport(small ones) where they could test fly the biggies for a crowd?
AFAIK events are small scale and slightly unkown.

A national (international may be if u have the reach) festival where its glitz and glory , alike a fair(mela) ?
A competition which is serious enough for all serious enthusiasts as well as simple enough for beginners  (:|~

8-) was wondering  if  it could also include not only aeromodelling but every thing under RC?

It might cost but decent advertisement space might rake in moolah too

Anyone vying for this one? a grand affair? or are all comfortable flying small ones and hiding masterpieces in their backyard?

Personally, I have time and logistics issues.  But we are already seeing many meets organized by individuals and clubs, where RCI has been the "platform".  Hopefully, we will have more and more of those !
