Invitation for RC plane events of Tech-Kriti, IIT Kanpur (Prizes of ₹4.2 lakhs)

Tech-Kriti is the annual technical and entrepreneurial festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and known to be one of the largest Technical and Entrepreneurial festival of Asia. This year, it's silver jubilee edition will be held from 7th to 10th March 2019. sp4mm3r hosts a wide variety of competitions in the field of robotics, aeromodelling, electronics, astronomy, innovation, RC IC engine car race, etc. with total prize money of 42 lakhs.


Some of the aeromodelling competitions are:
1. Skysparks (Boeing National Aeromodelling Festival) (Prize money of INR 2.4 lakhs)
The competition involves RC plane or aircraft with electric motors. The competition provides a platform to compete for different flyers through a series of different rounds doing different manoeuvres and showing their talent in flying like payload dropping, limbo flying and on spot landing. More than 300 people participated in Sky Sparks 2018 which was sponsored by Boeing.

2. Multirotor (Prize Money of INR 1 lakh)
Come meet some of the top Multi-rotor (quadcopter, etc.) pilots, technicians, inventors and enthusiasts of the country at Take-off, sp4mm3r. Amaze the audience with your models and make this competition a great success with your performances. You will be judged on various aspects of a multirotor that is on the expertise of your flying skill, the stability of your bot and the ability to pick and drop payloads. Your multirotor should be well fabricated and controls should be highly sophisticated in order to advance further in this competition.

3. Hovermania (Prize Money of INR 80,000)
The competition as the name suggests is a rugby match among hovercrafts. Each team has to design and fabricate one hovercraft that is lightweight, easily manoeuvrable, quick and strong. They must out-throw their opponent in a match of hovermania They must push the other opponents out of the arena. The last bot staying inside the arena wins the competitions. The team has to implement tactical strategies in order to succeed. Here is a chance to design the most efficient quick wrestling hovercraft that you have ever imagined.

I would love to be there as a participant or may be just as a visitor. But, the website does not allow making an account without college ID.

Yes, only college students are allowed. Hope you can share it with the college students you know in the forum.

No issues. As it is a college event, the difficulty level is not too high so you can give it a shot. Read the problem statement on the website and you'll know.
