i am also a rc lover like you all, but always do some It related things for my own, So i am started working on a price comparison website for our Indian hobby lovers, where you can able to see all the products and there live prices from maximum good RC Indian website in a single roof.

Hope you guys like this idea and welcome this, it is just a give away to our RC community for there ease.

presently demo site is www.meradaam.com which show Indian retail products, but i will make it for RC products soon.

not if the information is posted on a public website and therefore public domain - the price posted by the website is for public knowledge - how is it stealing  if I refer to that price ?

i have a very good knowledge of this field, nothing is theft here, it will go via proper process, where website owner give permission for there website data show, ultimately it will give them more online presence, it is something related to advertising and marketing so please do not think negative here, it is a win win situation service for all.

It will be very good thing sir , it will create good competition on rc product prices among LHS and ultimately customers will be benefited.

Brilliant Ideas brother. But how do you plan to compare prices where every LHS has their own brand / model name. I mean for generic products which have common title is easy.

No disrespect or negative thinking here but I am just wondering.

If it is done with the permission from the LHS it is not theft.
Read here whether it is permitted to collect data from a website without the owner's permission.

Site can start with branded products from HK, Emax, Sunnysky, etc.
Using a own brand is one of the business strategy to avoid direct comparison and competition.

thanks a ton rcparkjets for this, can you please pm me about the format of xml you have? like with categories and all, i need to see the xml format, i will start with your site data only, thats is grt bro, thanks a ton, i can even web-scrape the data on daily basis, but better option is you can provide the feed, and on timely basis any deals or offers you have in future.

if possible, make it a conclusive stop Ie: include the shipping price too ? Because at the end the customer is concerned with the total money going out of the account...

But the End website would help us all with branded products at least. So it's a win win situation for us all .

We were wondering how and who would ensure that all Indian websites are given enough weightage?
Second question here is how the web builder would ensure that his comparison is representing "apple to apple"? We all know enough Chinese duplicate, substandard hobby items are available.
And at the end if everything is at buyers' risk, what is the need for this help?

Just our thoughts to make search help more robust and helpful to beginners.

For the second question;
Site can start with branded products from HK, Emax, Sunnysky, etc. I don't think there will be duplicate of these brands.
May be sunnysky could be available ? If a buyer gets a fake product he can report it in the comparison website on the product page itself through discussion.

The objective of this site is to present that a product is available at different LHS at different prices. For example, Is this information is useful to you as a buyer.
