Just noticed that my status changed from Forum Hero to Senior Member. Did this happen because i crossed the 500 mark ? I guess Forum Hero was the top rank here on RCI ?

earlier it was 100+ senior member and 250+ forum hero :salute:

i think mr.Anwar must have changed the positions but forgot to change the stars :)

Well, there was some sense ("someone who is fully participating") ;)

It has now been changed to "Active Member" :)

Anwar, Why is Gaurav still a forum Hero after 500+ posts, when Iam already past forum hero and became a senior member? :headscratch:

ankur

new criteria
250+-senior member
500+forum hero

so u and me who were for some time forum heroes came back to senior member

Above 250 posts = Senior  and above 500 posts = Forum hero

I had those reversed for a little while, which has since been fixed.

And what do these "name"s mean anyways  :headscratch:  Just be around, reporting what you are doing, and helping others in whatever way you can. The rest is all immaterial  8-)

it doesn't means anything but most of us[including me] have a general sense of asking questions and clearing such doubts

I am not against that at all. If the "name" provides an additional bit of satisfaction (or is it recognition?) for people who spend a lot of time here (mostly helping others), I am all for that.  May be that is what I was thinking when I came up with those names.

But end of the day, they are immaterial and "you are who you are" :)
