I recently got a new job in Navi Mumbai, and I joined on 16th Jan.

Before joining, through this forum, I contacted some fliers (Anand Paranjpe & Saurabh Srivastava)

Today I met up with them, and Amar

I have lots of friends in South Bombay, but knew no-one in Navi Mumbai.

It has been so wonderful! They have gone out of their way to make me fell comfortable.  :salute:

I now know I have real friends here. Thank you Amar, Anand & Saurabh, and thank you rcorg  {:)} {:)}

Life is good!

Hi, I am Siva Kumar, basically from Tamil nadu, now in Navi Mumbai. I have been interested in RC cars for a year and a half now. I only learnt about RC Planes and Helis this Jan and have been so taken with it. Since I am interested in Kite surfing and paragliding, RC Flying (with FPV, hopefully) will be a wonderful avenue to explore. I joined this forum in Jan or Feb, I guess and have been reading stuff on the net for a couple of months now. Still don't own any planes or haven't flown any. JUST Reading. I hope to meet some guys in Navi Mumbai and see the sport first hand and try to get more idea. I am 29, staying at Koparkhairne [Sector-19], commerce graduate and know hindi, tamil, telugu and English. You can reach me at or [+91-97696-62839].

Love You Guys,  :)
Avis.

sanjayrai55

I have recd. your PM but when I tried to reply it did not go through. I live in Khargar, Sector 20. I used to be a model RC flier 20 odd years ago, and am getting back in the hobby

There is a very good ground in front of Tata Memorial hospital, on the Golf Course road

All the best, and looking forward to seeing you. Do contact Anand Paranjpye too

Kharghar is good place to fly other than Sunday morning as cricket is on full swing :) it still has place to fly but should avoid any risk.

Rest all days are good :)

sanjayrai55

There are other grounds too in Khargar. Only thing, in the whole of India, any decent public ground gets taken over by cricketers

Kids.. :giggle: Last time when i went out with my quad, all kids got around and started asking questions..
Asking questions in one thing, but one started shouting "oye isme bomb hain" :o :o then i was like WTF >:( i took my quad and went back and after 2 in afternoon..
