The name speaks for itself..
Anyhting about Dremel and I will try my best to answer.
Applications, prices, features, store locations, dealership querries, attachments and accessories, etc.
Technically, most of you will be way ahead but general querries are the most welcome.

Just joined today morning and guess missing out a lot thats happening!

Holy mother of god ! another hobbyist from Bangalore !! YAY !!! :D

First of all, I LOVE dremel products...they are soo well designed and fit in the hand.

I own a Dremel Glue Gun (which i bought 7 years ago) and Dremel 4000 Rotatory tool... (both I bought from US)
They are still running the same with absolutely no problems.

And I would like to know your personal Opinion on the Dremel Trio. It seems to be nice, compact and well priced. What are your thoughts on it and what is your real name :D ?

Heli flyer... couple of recent uses I had.

1. To put a flat notch on the motor shaft, so that the pinion gear does not slip out of the shaft.

2. To cut a piece of ply into this shape to make a convertor for the DS480 micro tail servo, as the servo holder on the 450 Pro models are built for mini-servos like the Futaba S9650.

One question.. how did you find/arrive at this forum ? Were you doing google searches for dremel users in India ?

Secondly, would you consider donating something like a 300 for a sweepstakes here ? :)  It would be good advertisement, as we can broadcast a message about the sweepstakes to all the 3000+ members here !  That is quite a bit of advertising to a very targeted audience... something you should be able to convince your bosses easily ;)

Nope, I spend a limited amount of time in India, but do visit Bangalore when I am back in India.  But my location should not be a hindrance for you in donating a Dremel to one of our upcoming sweepstakes :)  Let me know if you are ready, and I will send you an address to ship it to, and we will announce the same !

PS: I fixed earlier Youtube link itself.

I use my glue gun mostly for RC / Hobby .... and sometimes I use it for school projects.
I use the Dremel 4000 for cutting, sanding, stuff.

I need spare spindle of that as the spindle lock slot has been worn out all three & also I need spare chucks for that.

Is there any place in Rajasthan from where I can get these

Since my trips are infrequent, may I suggest that one of my Bangalore friends (who is also an active member here) pick it up.  He will also ship it off to the winner after the sweepstakes.  If this is OK, I will ask him to contact you, and he will collect it from you.

How can I buy a dremel 4000 from Shillong/ Guwahati

VC

It was available in Ghy last year, though I bought mine from Blr. Worked out cheaper. Try contacting Mr. Das at 09435551257. He seems to have been the contact person at Ghy. can't say for sure now.

Cheers!
