Hi, i picked up one universal laptop charger from Lamington Road.
This charger has a slider switch to switch different voltage. the option available are
15,16,18,19,20,22,24 Volts at 4Amp max.
i picked this adapter for 950 only..
At which voltage the amp rating is given.
in my opinion you can use it for 50W chargers. if 4amp is at 15 volts i.e.60W.
Donot use with higher wattage chargers.
for all the voltage .........its 4Amp.
And also, since these are Chinese made, so it will be slightly overrated.
take it for 3.8 Amp max
Sandeep
4amp can not be for all the voltage.
since Power(W)=V X I
BTW you can use it for 50W chargers. it is sufficient.
Hi Sandeep,
Did you connected to your charger? is it working good? For testing, I have used IBM thinkpad charger, and it worked well.
Regards,
Dileep
Yes it is also working as my IBM adapter one.
