Dear RC experts,

This is my first post in the group. Really excited to be part of such a dynamic community.

I recently bought IMAX B6 to measure capacity of several LiPo battery cells. I am currently in Noida and there are frequent power cuts.

To calculate the capacity, I charge the cells to 4.2 V using imax b6 and then I discharge the cells. Now everytime there is a power cut while the cell is discharging , all the capacity data gets lost. Which means I have to charge the cell again and then discharge it again. It's turning out to be a nightmare.

Any work arounds for this problem?

1. UPS ?

2. use another lipo  to make an OR circuit ( which will also work as ups ).

We have the back-up system (it's a gated apartment complex). But until the inverter system kicks in, data is already lost. Could you exaplain 2?... I am new to RC
