In what ways ? look and feels better ??? :) I beleive both the chargers have similar ROMs flashed on similar MCUs.

Both are more or less the same. :D

Here is what I feel:

1.) If you are extremely price consious and ok with limited functionalites, go for a 50W charger like Accucell 6 or Imax B6 (infact both are almost the same except for the looks) (retails for $23.99)

2.) If you are price consious but need a bit more power on the charging, go for a 150W or a 200W charger like Turnigy 200W charger. (retails for $36.29)

3.) If you are ok shelling about $100, and not willing to compromise on functionality and capability, and wanting to pursue this hobby for long, then go for iCharger 106B+ (retails for $79.99)

Beware... all these prices and chargers come without power supplies (PSU) you will need PSU to power them at home, but on field, you may use your car battery to power these chargers. With high power chargers, you may need to invest more on the high power PSU as well.
Cheers !!!

this,(IMAX  B6 PRO Balance charger) is better than

Both have same ROM flashed on similar MCU. Both have same menus and functionalities.

The only difference is the look and feel. ImaxRC looks like a nylon case while the accucell 6 is cased in aluminum. Heat dissipation during discharge is better on metal ... I guess  :headscratch:     :giggle:

Here is where opinion based on pictures is a bad idea ;)

The Imax B6 has a better finished metal case, and I was referring to the HK version itself (as the "Pro" version was not mentioned initially) :

I have ordered two of these, and my brother and another RCI member are using these two happily.

The Accucel 6 seemed to have a leakage current on certain screws, where you could get a small jolt.

Hangingtough :  Next time, you should post links to the actual products in the initial question itself.  I thought you were referring to the HK versions of both.

Leakage on certain screws ??? You better open and check then. All the screws that are visble go into the same aluminum casing, so if there is a leak, it will be on all the screws as well as the whole body. My Accucel 6 also has earth leak (maybe) as there is a light sensation when touched while powered through a laptop adapter with 2 pins only. The leak is not detected, if used with an adapter with 3pin plug. I am suspecting, the PSU as the culprit not the charger.
Cheers !!!

I don't have it anymore.

But the Imax B6 did feel overall better as compared to the Accucel 6, even including balancing (for the one time I checked when I had both around).  It is not a "world of difference" either :)

Yes, they are different.  Quick differences that I noticed were that there are 10 model memory stores (as opposed to 5), a temperature based safety monitor and a USB based analysis system for the Pro version.
