Hello,
I need your help with selecting a good battery charger. My max budget is Rs 2200. I want to go for AC instead of DC because I dont have a AC to DC converter and I am not sure if I should use my laptop charger as most DC chargers have input voltage as 11V to 18V but my charger says it charges at 19.5V and 3.33A.
I was thinking about this charger --> http://robu.in/product/imax-b6-chargerdischarger-1-6-cells-copy/
Can I use this one with my laptop charger?
No even this one is rated 11-18V input. You can buy it and a 12V 5A laptop charger (this is the setup I used to use) or similar and still be under budget. The B6 is a decent charger, but not the most powerful. Also, the discharge/ storage feature on it is almost useless at is has a very low discharge power, meaning that it takes ages to discharge packs and the charger heats up a lot. I would recommend the Turnigy Accucell chargers but you are unlikely to get those in your budget.
The main disadvantage of AC chargers is that the built-in power supply usually causes a lot of heating.
There aren't too many options at that budget, but I would be able to make better recommendations if you tell me what kind of packs you expect to be charging (chemistries, capacity, max charge rate etc.).
I have the following brand new charger for sale.

@SK1701 Ok but all AC to DC converters are either above 18 V or have EU plug which can't be put in normal house sockets.
I am not able to check rcmumbai.com cause it's under maintainance.
Can you recommend any converter...

i am currently using this charger. And what i can say its quality is like its price , low. It charges quickly but forget about balancing and discharging . Although i could'nt complain its serving its purpose for me. What i do is charge lipo and fly and change battery and fly again. And then charge both and repeat the process. No problems faced till now.
So any other charger in my budget?

You can use any old SMPS from the computer. A 200W SMPS would do.
How about this charger?
