How do you store lipo?

one of the vids at YouTube caught my attention- A LIPO FIRE BRINGING DOWN A WHOLE HOUSE...after that i began respecting and taking extra care of my batteries..now i store them in metal tiffin box and container(my mom's atta container :giggle:). Charge them at the center of my room without any inflammables around. How do you guys do it? Please share to help me and the newbies around :hatsoff:

Make a few holes in that container , lipos burn hot and they produce alot of gas , is there are no ventilation holes for the gas to escape it can explode . Fill the botom of the container with some sand as well . As for me i just keep them in a lipo safe bag , then the lipo bags are keept in a metal container .
