Hi,
Needed suggestions for practices of parallel charging Lipos.
I am learning Quad with Hubsan X 4. It has 240 mAh battery. I have observed that the charging via USB method takes about an hour to give 5 mins flight.
Having multiple batteries also doesn't help much as you need to charge them one by one.
I found that we can charge lipos in parallel. The Calculation used here is to set your charger's current multiplied by the number of batteries connected.
I am planning to buy 500 mAh for my Hubsan as I saw people using it. So the current setting at my charger I believe should be 500 x 4batts = 2000 mAh. Do comment here.
Also I see that the batteries used in Hubsan X4 do not have balance charging terminal hence you just need to connect the two ends. Same terminals for charge and discharge.
So my worry is : will the charger stop charging batteries when the charge is completed or do one needs to keep monitoring to avoid the battery disaster?
Or is that possible that we could create a balance charging connection for four parallel batteries?
Is there any better method known get these batteries charged in parallel in lesser time?
I am planning to use my existing charger AP606

Just needed to know what mod or what connection we need to do, to make it charge fast and safe with existing charger.
