You can use any of the same 'cell' together. Stick with the same brand also where possible.
Example: Using a 3s 5000mah 40c from hyperion on one side, and a 2s 5000mah 40c hyperion on the other side is GREAT!

Don'ts:

Don't mix mah ratings
Don't mix c ratings
Don't mix manufacturers (even if the ratings are the same, they are different cells inside)
Don't wire them wrong! haha. Makes a big bang.
Same specs are required so that the battery performance is in synchronisation.

Instead, get a 5s pack.I think that I read somewhere which said that one should not connect lipos in parallel or series which are not exactly similar.

It is not advisable to run 2 different rating/voltage/mah packs in the same car. I would suggest you get 2 x same pec batts or buy a single 4s/6s pack.

A 4S pack 25C itself will get you some nice kick. Dont mix and match packs. I am not sure if the Revo battery case can take a single 4S. So get 2 nos 2S packs.

Hobbyking has great VFM packs. You can also get hardcase. High end ones like Hyperion (read expensive) is available with Sid or Rotor.

You can mix if you have balanced charger. It will take care not only your both pack but also each cell.

Just charge two pack with individually through balanced charger so that difference charging time will be no problem.

Also you have to check that the max current demand of ESC be delivered by both pack (As in series).

Please also check that the Motor & Esc for voltage rating (5s = 18.5-21V). If yes no problem.

Of course you can check for separate pack if you make it permanent.

But if the mAh differs, you will get the minimum mAh Capacity.
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

Still ,the safest way is to have 2 identical packs rather than two packs with different voltages, capacities, discharge rates et cetera.

fine. But 6s is said to kill the e revo in a short time along with lots of heat.
