I was about to fly this mini quad I have, but it kind of acted strangely and shot up straight into the sky.....Basically, I ended up crash landing it....
So I had this 3S wolfpack 1800 mAh battery in it which got very slightly bended at two places. I used the multimeter to check the voltage and it was all right. However, I did not charge or attempted to take a flight with it again.
I want to make sure that the battery is safe before I use it again.
Someone please help me on how I should proceed now. I have a imax B6 charger.
I am attaching a picture for reference

Smell it if it smells really bad like a chemical then it is punctured else it is usable. Once try to use if it puffs slightly then it is in faulty condition.

No, it doesn't smell. I will use it again but I fear that it may catch fire...

Lipo business is a little tricky...

Better charge it in a lipo safe/fire safe bag.....and OUTSIDE your house....

if charging in the house, please please keep a lose eye on the battery...and keep a fire extinguisher handy....

Use it without fear  :P I have more badly disfigured batteries on my miniquad and they run fine. It may happen that the LiPo may not charge to its fullest. If the LiPo heats during charging(at 1C) discontinue using it.
