HI,
back after a long time :)
My NiMH Charger went bad. So Now i am left with 2 packs without any charge in them.

Looks like both are 3 cells
1. NiMH 3.6V 1500mah (probably Chinese) (3 wires - red, white and black)  [atleast this one  :banghead:]
2. NiCD 3.6V 500mah  (probably Chinese)

Can some one help me get a charger(Not the big bulky universal charger) or help me build one?

I know there might be some electronics gurus or enthusiasts who know of such stuff.
We do get Li-Po charger circuit board at ebay/amazon and I know Li batteries are good  but cannot go that route right now.

I have heard about different circuits but finding a good charger is so difficult.
If I can get a good simple circuit diagram that too would do too :)
Heard about MAX 712 chips if anyone knows about these or uses them please do tell.

thanks in advance.  ;D

I might be wrong, but Imax B6 might have some option for charging NiMh batteries. I have to check it again though.
3S? Then how can there be only 3 wires? 3 wires should mean 2S, right?

Thank you for your inputs.

What i was saying is 3 cells and not 3S  which seems to be a Lithium terminology
which i am not entirely familiar with.
The battery pack looks somewhat like this

The third wire which i heard may belong to a thermistor wedged in between.

But how do i charge such a pack which usually is designed for cordless phones? any ideas?
