hi!
does anyone have experience in how to charge a li-ion battery using an imax b6 charger? i have a 3s li-ion battery that i use for robotics and i cannot charge it. it only has one connector, similar to the balance port on li-po batteries. my charger gives me connection error if i merely plug my battery into the balance port of charger and leave the output port of charger empty. If i connect to the output port, how will it balance the battery?
The smaller B3 charger works just fine with it.
If your battery only has that balance port, you have to do some mods to tap out the positive end(From the balance port itself) and connect it to the Imax B6 o/p Positive terminal - negative is not needed as the o/p and balance port ground of Imax will be internally connected,
