Hi,

i Need some help from experts.

I have a LIPO 11.1V , 2200mah , 25C.

But when i charge using a esky balance charger it takes 5-6 hours. So i want to charge the battery initially from a 12V dc supply which has 1.5A capacity.

Now i know that the lipo should not be charged above 1A, so what is the best way to restrict the current going in the LIPO.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am confused  :headscratch:  It should normally be safe to charge a 2200mah lipo at upto 2.2Amps (that is known as 1C charging). Monitor the voltage while charging.

You will need to use a balance charger to do the final bit of charging and balancing though.

That said, please consider investing in a proper charger that can charge lipos at their proper ratings (it would take no more than 45 minutes to 1 hour for almost any lipo with such a charger), especially if you are in this hobby for the long haul.

Such chargers have become fairly affordable now.
