question is that can this happen???(refer linky-link above)
if yes i will start making packs and selling them for cheap :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:
btw if this is possible should the packs be used ???
A dangerous question..... :o
could be a godd topic to debate! :argue: :argue: :argue:
i want anwar bhai to help :help: :help: 8-)
Selling should not be an option because then it will mean that you bear the responsibility of the pack as a whole.
You cannot give it a good packing and insulation to the wires... as the company can do... the individual cells available are also not of very high capacity and the final pack will have very limited run time and usage variants...
You'll also need cells with good discharge ratings..
Need to consider the EXPLODING of LiPos due to manufacturing deffects. Making a LiPo means, making a Bomb almost, packed carefully.
Seriously, there are better things in life to do than solder and sell lipos.
I may be wrong...i have purchased one 3.7v 480 mah Lipo cell for Rs. 60 from lamington road, Mumbai, that cell was having two electrods coming out of the pack. At home i found it impossible to solder that material. on inquiry i found that they cannot be solder but need spark shots on some solder able material.
anyways...making a pack at home will be costly matter...this is what i think....

???? which shop did u get it from?? cause i recently brought 2 small ones from a shop in Chunam Lane and they had proper wires coming out of them!!
If I were asked to point out the primary safety issue in RC (of course other than flying a plane into people/houses/cars etc), it would be lipos. They have become fairly affordable now, to let the professionals deliver the goods :)
This is NOT an area recommended for DIY
100 % Correct..
Sandeep telling right. We cannot solder lipo terminals with ordinary soldering iron
