I have an fx078 hell...it uses a 700 mAh battery and is very underpowered with it. A 1000 mAh 25c would work fine I guess.

700 to 1000 mAh will not make any difference in power.... rather the weight of 1000mAh will further make it sluggish.

what you need is a new high discharge ( 30 -45c) battery weighing the same as 700mAh battery.
