one of the comments on the discussion page says
"ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO ONLY PLUG PACKS AT THE SAME VOLTAGE LEVEL.. plug an empty pack in parallel with a half charged pack and expect some serious smoke and possibly sparks or worse !"
