Hi,
My question is noobish  :banghead:
I have recently bought Taranis plus radio. It didn't had a  inbuilt charger so I am planning to charge it externally through IMAX B6 charger.
I am confused on how to charge this OEM battery through IMAX as the battery got only one small balance lead only.
So please let me know how should I charge this? Should i need to get some adapters?

Nicad - Nimh batteries don't require balance leads and you need to charge that in nimh mode at say c/5 rate (select that in the IMAX B6)
Today might be a great and wonderful day. It depends on you.

Thanks Sahil.

But how do i connect the OEM battery to power lead.
Attached is the image for reference

You need to connect your lipo directly to the main charger output. You can unpin the connector that i have highlighted and use it to charge your nimh lipo.

avesh its Nimh not Nimh lipo, like avesh said you need to make adapter cable for charger or buy suitable one.

I had the same issue I removed pins from a jst connector and soldered them to xt60 using silicon wire  just make sure you get positive & negative right and charge at 0.5 amps

Thanks Avesh & Wingman. I followed your instruction and was able to charge the battery :)

Why you want to remove the Battery to charge it ? Ideally ALL chargers have a "Charge" port, which is usually the DC Jack pin (unless you are using a Futaba Snob). When the Power switch is Off, the Battery is conencted to the charge port. You can safely charge NiMH inside the Tx by making a DC Jack pin cable which connects to your B6 Charger (careful about polarity ) and charging in the NiMh mode of B6.
