Nice build. :)
How did you re-inforce the T joint on the V stab, how steady is it?
To think too long about doing a thing often becomes its undoing

docnayeem

Its stuck with 2 coro  pieces and cyno and is quite sturdy

Your wing doesn't have a dihedral and it doesn't have ailerons too. Pretty sure you will have a tough time controlling it.

docnayeem

@vishalrao ... As it is I have messed up with the wing loading ... So planning a poly dihedral of 6 to 8 in on both edges of the wings ..  What do you think ? ... Thanks for the input

That's a good option .... It won't take care of the excess wing loading though ....

Hey ... Any one on the wing loading maths ...
That's been pricking me .... The value turns out to be 9.9 cube wing loading. And ideal glider wing loafing figure is under 5 .... Mine is almost double .... This is the maths part .... But experts on board .... Please ...advise

First of all ..well done gr8 plane :)...your wingspan is 9.26 oz/cu.ft to be exact ( according to online calculator) usually beginners are advised to choose cubic loading no greater than 8 but since its close enough no worries.....as suggested by one of the members above do cut an aileron...as you are a beginner you should practice with ailerons first...if you have an extra servo just cut the ailerons out...if you dont hav an extra servo you can swap the rudder servo as you dont need rudder right now....as i too dont use rudder im also on a learning stage for planes...you can see my first plane here http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/my-new-spad-hell-on-stick-(-no-rails)-))))/

Plus you can refer to this page for calculations an design help....

Ive never tried webocalc....ive tried ecalc...does webocalc have data abt turnigy motors...??...ecalc has but not all ..

docnayeem

@EricOliver thanks for your suggestions ...
Will do the aileron part but am thinking to do it after a test flight as I want to confirm I don't need more wing area ... What do u say ?

Just go for maiden....and post videos so if anything goes wrong we can identify.... :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

wingman4ever

hii please before take off do the glide rest first by hand usually i do the that before takeoff..incase any load shifting...please do i tby chuking with full force and ensure weather it gets stall or dive ...if you aware about the glide test...all the best....
Target Sighted.....

wingman4ever

please try the the extra tip in dihidral angle by adding extra coro of same shape at both the wings end... will help at the time flying...and prevent from wing drop at turns.....
Target Sighted.....

docnayeem

@wingman4ever...
Thanks for the input... Had given a glider trial with out the load ( battery ESC Rx and motor ) had glided well and about tip dihedral was thinking in same Lines will do that ..
Thanks again

@EricOliver .... The CG is a bit (1in ) behind where it should be ... So adding a bit of weight on the nose ( nut ) ..

manojswizera

Instead of adding dead weight, move the battery to get correct CG.

docnayeem

@swizera ... Actually there is no scope for any forward battery movement ... That's y I had to resort to dead weight

EricOliver

While adjusting cg always try to remove weight adding more wt will worsen the cg...and will have hard time balancing....

docnayeem

@EricOliver...then
I have to reduce the tail ..
V stab and H stab ... But that will mess up with my proportions ... Should I ?
