Title: A bit of a problem, and a massive a confusion
Post by: yash3339 on December 23, 2014, 08:37:57 PM
Hey guys,

I believe this is my first post here. Been a lurker for quite a while though... Anyway, hi!

I recently ordered a Hubsan X4 from China which is now held at customs. They are asking for a WPC license, about which I don't have a clue. What I know is it'll cost money, and so will customs duty. So I'm planning to let it go and get a refund, and purchase another quad domestically.

I saw this: rcmumbai.com/index.php/product/x4-rtf-quadcopter/ which I earlier believed to be the Hubsan X4, but upon calling up rc Mumbai I was told that it is a clone. Anyone have any experience with this one? I've heard good things about the shop. Also, the person who took the call said that it is exactly the same, so I was wondering if it uses the same protocol as the original Hubsan.

Please let me know! Thanks in advance!

well sir I ve not flown x4 but this one is worth flying. I had got it from Chintal before rcmumbai was launched. this one is a beauty n fun flying. the controls are nice, it responds quickly all in all u can ve it for indoor flying. make sure u ll purchase a spare battery coz once u start flying u ll desperately feel to fly it a bit more. so the extra battery ll come handy.

Hi chintal :)

It would be great if you yourself could clear the doubt for me: is the X4 quad that you have on sale an OEM version of the Hubsan X4, meaning it shares the same protocol and has the same build quality?
