I started building my first quad last year and gained experience in building, crashing, rebuilding, fixing mysterious issues and finally flying (still, I can't claim to fly good).
My 1st milestone achieved and am looking forward to install a camera.
My purpose is to be able to take decent quality pictures, video footage and finally experience FPV.
So, I am looking for a camera which can record without interference due to FPV (I read somewhere that DVR / split suits) and should be upgradable to FPV.

My quad build is very rudimentary on F450 frame with APM 2.8 FC, 2212 980 kV BLDC, 30A ESCs and 1045 props.
LiPo 5000mAh battery is mounted. FS 9X + DJT Frysky module (Telemetry) and D4R-II receiver.
Assuming 2 Km range, FPV range also should be similar. Weight currently should be around 1.2 Kgs.....need to check again.

I just saw XiaoMi Yi camera on Amazon which looks to be good, though expensive. Will it be compatible for FPV?

I am lost in TVL angles etc and then wiring them. If am able to zero on equipment, I will figure-out how to fix them.

I look forward to BOM for this setup like camera, cables, vtx etc. if someone could help with.
Then I will start exploring for best deal (new / used).

Budget as told by one of the veteran from this forum is INR 3K ~ 5K all put together.
