Title: Beginners questions
Post by: Srijit.Chatterjee on October 29, 2020, 12:11:53 PM
Dear Members
I am really new to the hobby ( like 3 / 4 days).
Went through all videos by flite test, and made myself familiar with the various aspects of the trade.
I have few grey areas where you guys can provide inputs -
1. what TX-Rx should I pick up - I will start 3 ch but can go for ailerons later. so min 4 ch should be good.
2. battery and charger - which ones to take

the electronics packages additional to the diy kits mostly cover the rest. - motor , prop, ESC+BEC , servos, linkages
can you guide if I am missing anything.

I am from kolkata - contact from any active member here will be greatly helpful.

thanks

First of all welcome to RCINDIA
I'd recommend you to get yourself a 6ch Tx Rx because that is kind of like a one time investment, you can use it later on.. From what I know I think FlySky Tx Rx would be a good bang for the buck.
Now batteries depend on what plane you are making but most of the time 11.1v 3c batteries work out pretty well. And you can get a 3c charger (compatible with 1c,2c as well)
those will be the best options for a beginner I suppose :P.

Thanks for the input. I was looking at FS i6 in amazon , but sellers look sketchy - do you know any reputable seller online or better offline in kolkata.

For that you can have a look at this thread http://www.rcindia.org/rc-outlets-and-resellers/mega-list-of-all-rc-outlets-in-india/ & http://www.rcindia.org/rc-outlets-and-resellers/mega-list-of-all-rc-outlets-in-india/msg307388/#msg307388  Also you can shop from Chinese websites but they take time.
