Hey everyone. Im just getting into the whole RC planes thing. I want to start off with a foam pusher plane since they are the safest to fly. I am looking at this one:
http://rcbazaar.com/products/1062-clouds-fly-axn-floater-with-motor-and-prop.aspx

these are the things required:
Required:
● Your own RX/TX
● 20A Brushless ESC
● 4 X 9g Servo
● 1600~2200mAh 3s Lipoly

I have the following questions:
Is this a good flyer to start off with? is it a good deal money wise?
Is it worth it to start off with a programable Rx/Tx? I would rather not put in the extra 3k so early and am looking at this rx/tx: http://thehobbyshop.in/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=3
What is a ESC and is it necessary? Will this one do? http://thehobbyshop.in/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=17
looking at this one for the battery:
http://thehobbyshop.in/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=15
a 3S lipo means 3 internal batteries and a particular voltage right?
Since this is a 2200mAh batter will the built in motor suffice?

Thanks.

hi

its a great plane, dont know if its worth its cost.i am also getting this, but its very famous in rc community.
get model without esc.add red brick or hk ss 25-30 amps. 30a esc is needed.you can get it from hobbysea
use 2200mah battery as this plane is tail heavy with 1300mah. so bigger battery is better.use collet instead of prop saver.
