My name is Vaibhav Jain. I am looking to buy RC car WPL C24 online from DHGate / Banggood / Makerfire. This is first time I am purchasing anything from international portal.

I shortlisted the product from a few sellers. I am getting for around 4k + around 700 shipping.

But I would like to know how much customs duty + taxes will be charged to me for the shipment?

Also, how would I know the shipment has arrived at customs and how such payment is to be made, I mean do we get email from courier company / customs to make customs duty + tax payment through some online mode and then courier company will deliver to home?

Any inputs would really be helpful.

60% + GST

Custom duty(of Delhi Customs) is 40% on purchased items and 60% on gift items.
Customs clearance is laborious work. It can take around a few weeks to months of time.
