HI!
I AM BEGINNER AND
WANT TO KNOW WEATHER THE INPUT BATTERY VOLTAGE 7.4V AND 11.1 VOLTS MATTERS THE SPEED OF MOTOR?
SAY, IF I CONNECT SAME MOTOR TO DIFFERENT BATTERY THROUGH ESC, WILL IT AFFECT THE FULL SPEED OF THE MOTOR ?
THE REASON BEHIND ASKING THIS, IS, IF I DIDNT GET ENOUGH THRUST AND IF CHANGING THE BATTERY VOLTAGE FROM 7.4V TO 11.V , KEEPING SAME MOTOR , WILL INCREASE THE FULL SPEED AND THUS THE THRUST OR SPEED.
PLEASE REPLY,
THANKX IN ADVANCE

Bob! Chill with the caps, the term KV on your motors refer to rpm per volt... if ur motor is a 1000 kv, while using your 7.4 v battery will give u 7.4 times 1000kv(7,400rpm), if u use a 11.1 v, it will give u 11.1 times 1000kv(11,100rpm) so yes it does affect the thrust and full speed! but see that ur motors and esc can handle 11.1v(3s)!! If it is a brushless motor then 3s (11.1v) should do just fine and just make sure about the esc's and it is usually specified on the ESC.
I am having 30A BLDC ESC, no voltage rating is given,
will it be ok for 3s lipo?
Yep...
the ones u have can take a 4S too, thats the maximum though..
