prabal276

have you even tried to google on the topic?
Please be more specific. What kind of craft?
The word "drone" in India refers to about a trillion different things.
We are not here to spoon feed you everything. Nobody will decide if you need a plane, a quad, a hexa or even a deca-copter.
We can help if there is a problem in selection provided you do some research yourself.
With that vague question, i have a vague answer:
A motor of High capacity is required.

@sri2566,
Welcome to the forum.

To get a meaningful answer, you have to tell us much more info.
For example:
1. How much area will be covered using 8 litres?
Ie, area covered per litre?

2. Also time for spraying per litre?

Without such details how can anyone guess how far to fly and for how long?

srikanth - we are doing some trials in the tea gardens of Assam -

if you like - please get in touch with me thru PM - I would like to compare notes.

I'm working on something similar.
5lt Tank should be sufficient for 1 acre of plain field. 5-8 minutes per acre.
i.e. Around 6kg Payload including sprayer, tank, landing gear, etc.

Comparable to Matrice 600 by DJI.

The motors needed for such a hexacopter are not available easily in India.

saikat

you will need minimum 50 ltr per acre for insectide/pecticide control and about 80-100 ltr per acre
for foliar fertiliser application assuming latest 5 gen chemicals.

we are currently applying 200 ltr per acre with motorised sprayers

Oh. I had taken my data from a report which said that 5Lts would be sufficient for 1acre with proper droplet size. This would lead to huge saving in wt.

I'll have to look up other sources then...

Imperial fire

It doesn't have to be a multicoptor powered by batteries does it???
I've seen a  Yamaha max or something Heli on yt doing some serious work...

saikat

imperial fire is correct ..... practical aerial spraying is almost always powered with a
2 stroke engine ( barring full scale agro aircraft)
