Guys
here I want to share A4 tiled plans of Easy Star Clone (54" WS). got them tailor made by one of my friends on RCG for my own build.
Hope these help someone who love to start scratch building a perfect trainer :)
Thank you
Thanks :hatsoff:
good find ! :thanks:
:hatsoff: {:)}
nice.. thank you..
which foam should i use to make the plane?
Merog - vote of thanks!
Gagan - Biofoam/Depron 5mm wings, tail and stab + Styrofoam Fuselage is my bet. Motor mount from light 3mm ply.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
VC Sir Styrofoam = High Density Thermocol ....am I right?
How that curved shape of wing can be achieved? vertical curve for diethral?
@Amit - styrofoam is a kinda foam other than thermacol.
And about the wing tip curve, rolling to a pipe and tape the upper surface of curve was suggested but it fits only for an 'EPP' kinda strong foams, but not for EPS or Styrofoam. So, what I figured out was, we can make a non-curved wing i.e 'an angled' wing like that of slow stick.
I hope it works!
thanks merog
You can easily sand the styrofoam.
****NOTE****
Guys, this plan is tailor made and DOESNT MATCH EXACTLY WITH THE ORIGINAL MULTIPLEX EASY STAR! The fuse length and wing area are a lot different. This is a kinda big and huge.
YOU HAVE TO CALCULATE THE REQUIRED THRUST AND PROPS ON YOUR OWN for your application and YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE YOUR OWN POWER SYSTEM.
Thank you
****NOTE****
I also tried to calculate the dimensions of easy star. they are nearly same . please see this post reply 11. dimensions are in pics only
