Title: Help Needed with attaching rudder to the tail
Post by: kvnpraveen on March 26, 2013, 11:00:30 PM
Hi,

Just started my hobby after a much awaited period because of tight budget. Now I make enough money to spend on my favorite hobby of flying.
Bought a beginner plane. I have got the idea of attaching everything in place except the rudder. attaching a couple of pictures so you people can get an idea. also there is no groove provided for the servo rod hinge. the grooves are present on wings and the elevator though. so I am confused on how to attach this rudder to the tail and where to place the hinge for the push rod. Any advice is highly appreciated.

Thank you.

cut some slots on both sides (tail and fuse).  Use foam safe CA or epoxy.  If the paper hinge is too stiff you have to work them in (band back and forth).
You don't need a groove for the rod.
