Hi Friends,
I need your advice to build the simplest plane/glider.
Here are some of my queries
1) Which brushless motor I should use?
2) Which ECS?
3) Which Lipo?
4) Which servos
5) I have 3 CH TX & RX so not planning to buy, but if you with you can post link of some good Tx Rx for the benefit of other users.
I have search on net and think that following brushless combo (Motor, prop, ecs) can be used(?) - Price 1400
http://rcforall.co.in/product_info.php/cPath/10/products_id/234
For Lipo can I use following ? – Price 985
http://www.rcdhamaka.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=58_59_94&products_id=434
Charger – is it good? Price 1280
http://www.rcdhamaka.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=58_59_96&products_id=511
For servos – Price 410 * 2 = 820
http://rcforall.co.in/product_info.php/cPath/3_4/products_id/428
Prop saver - 50
http://www.rcdhamaka.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=58_59_93&products_id=405
Total cost is ( 1400 + 895 + 1280 + 820 + 50) 4445
Do you think it's good combination?
I do not have idea about how much weight of my plane will be ? as I am not sure about the material or design. (I am thinking about coro as its very durable)
I am looking for your help to decide should be my first plane and what parts will go well for it.
Other think I had in mind that is the quality of products is good?
Or do you think I should order from hobbyking or somewhere else?
Thank you,
Atul
How about this combo?
They are out of stock right now... if its goos then i will wait. :)

First you'll have to decide which plane you are going to build. Motor, ESC, prop etc depends on the plane you build. Forget the electronics for now, select a plan and start building. And if you live anywhere near baner don't forget to drop by at Pancard Clubs on weekend between 8.30Am to 11Am, we'll set you up
Thank you for your reply.
I stay at Kharadi and prefer to go Hadapser gliding center :) .. but sure I will try to visit Pancard club sometime.
Can you please recommend me any simplest plane?
If you have any link from where I can download the design then that would be great.
Regards,
Atul
here is one tested and approved solution
http://www.rcindia.org/self-designed-diy-and-college-projects/glidiator-my-first-trainer-build-log/
Link you gave is really great but the design specification i.e Height, width, length etc etc ...is not there ..
I am looking for design which will have all the details so that i can cut those pieces glue them and my plane will be in proper proportion...
Here are some threads where you will find plans and tips about building simple trainer electric planes.

Hope this helps.
spitfire, links you gave are great. I appreciate your help.
I personally have bad experience with piper cub and Cessna kind of look like piper cub to me (http://www.rcindia.org/beginners-zone/so-what's-your-rc-story/msg43289/#msg43289) and think that creating glider will be easy to build and easy to fly.
Can someone please provide me the design for glider please?
Thank you,
Atul

Hi Atul,
You may build the Avispad shown in the picture attached ;D. Plans are available on the net.
Regards,
Mohan
Hi Atul,
The link for the Avispad is under . Check your PM.

Hi Atul
Avispad is good for beginer and easy to build. I build this model with coro.
i also want build this plane as my 1st model for school fare . where can i find the plans
I think this will be a good first plane for you. I've seen Mohan's plane in action, its one of the most durable plane on our field. Here is the plan.
in 2nd image what is that tilted thing in last
Thats the front view of the wing.
what is the thickness of coro
use 3mm coro.
Note that in the above post (second image) the dimension is of a completed wing. Attached is the cutout for the wing. You'll have to fold it on the crease to make the wing.
what is the thickness of coro by which avispad is made up of
Refer my above post. And have some patience man!
This link will give you a general idea about how to build a coro wing.

i m not getting the last image which u sent me
you'll get it only after you have been through the link i have posted. Go to that page study each image one by one by clicking on the links below the image.
me wood alternative me kya use kar sakta hu
scale se weight increase ho jayga
You can use strips of coro glued together.
can i get radio from hobbyking & what other electronics will i need
radio transmitter&receiver,brush less motor,electronic speed control(ESC),lipo battery,servos,propellor.
SunLikeStar the plan you gave looks excellent and good to start !!
Thank you for the help!!!
Hello ritz,
I request you to read through the posts on the forum. You will learn a lot and 80% of your questions will be solved (in future). Since the equipment is expenssive having knowledge will go a long way in preventing unnecessary expenditure. :)
Rajathv8 have told the right thing.
Better purchase Mr. Moss kit complete (Without Radio) and fly first. Then use the servo, ESC, BL Motors, Battery, to your scratch build plane.
But, just read, read and read the forum post before making scratch build models.
Thanks.
how mutch i have to spent on this plane my budget is 5000+500/-
Here is the link to Mr. Moss http://rcforall.co.in/product_info.php/cPath/1_20/products_id/227 . The price mentioned is Rs 7500.
how i will attach spar into the wing
http://spadworld.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15648&start=0
study this thread ritz.
can i attach airlons dihydral wing
is it optional to attach airlons to dihydral wing
hi
please check RCDhhamaka website for the EasyStar it best plane for the beignner.
In Mr. moss u will have to take care of propller as it is in front but in Easy Star its
behind the wings. Easystar is really easy to fly as it is made for beginner to learning FLYing.
Its my Point of View.
EasyStar is good (very easy to fly .. excellent glide ... very durable) but they have brushed setup in it... which is not that useful..if you upgrade to brush-less setup then you will get more efficiency .. more flying time...
I thought this thread was about How do I create simplest electric flying machine? :violent: Its perhaps veered around to buying the simplest electric flying machine... ;D
good catch Mohan :)
can i use simple wing instead of dihydral wing in avispad
As already discussed two-three times on phone, you can build this plane with a straight wing but you wont be able to fly it.
ok
so tell much more triks to made dihydral wings
give me some ideas ho to use coro to make avispad
nice topic...usefull...thanks ..you all...
