Hi guys,I recently bought a 1s 600mah lipo cell for my micro quad.The problem is I don't know how to charge it,because it doesn't have a balance  plug.I came to know from other forms,that 1s lipo cell doesn't need a balance cable,and there is a special option for charging  1s lipo cell on chargers.I couldn't find anything on my charger.I tried charging it directly but all I get is series of error beeps.Some of you must have already faced this problem,it would be really helpful if you could share your experience.

I have never charged 1s. But I think you can connect it directly to the voltage terminals of IMAX B6 and set the charge mode to lipo (charge or balance?) . Set current as 0.6A and voltage as 3.7 volt.

remember to buy the appropriate Connector for your battery.

So I can connect it directly to my laptop via usb,and just charge my lipo,by adding a female jst connector to the board?.Have you used it?,How do I know my lipo is fully charged?.

yes, you can use lap usb output or even a mobile charger (5v).
I am still using it.
There is LED indication.
Use appropriate connector for the battery.(from the b-ve& b+ve pads)

I have charged 1s lipo cell battery from TP4056 (with back protection).
This TP4056 can also charge lipo battery pack. i mean 2s 3s or more but this module can charge only 1 cell at a time.
if you try to charge 3s cell then your module will be burned.
Don't charge via laptop or computer USB. Don't use laptop or computer USB. I have tried to charge with my laptop usb and something wrong happened and my laptop was dead then fixed but my laptop having problem of USB signal. Still I am suffering from that issue.
So, Charge with mobile charger usb.
Connect USb cable(from charger adapter) to tp4056 module then connect B+ or B- of module to Lipo. Led will be turned to red(means charging).

sim_tcr , i charge my 1s lipo , directly with the B6, but my v911 and v977 heli come with 1s lipo chargers , so i can use them too, i just use some thin wires .

By the way , bro, where did you get the 600 mah lipo ?

amba... bro , if you use the 5v charger ,  how do you maintain the upper limit of 4.2 volts ?

TP4056 is a good charger for 18605 cell and 1s small lipo. TP4056 stop charging lipo and led colour will be changed.
Please check description or information of TP4056 module.

Thank you all,and thanks for your suggestion taksh,I will definitely  charge it with a mobile charger.I bought my lipo from ebay and it's already puffed now,I don't know why.pnkyjs how do you charge your 1s lipo with b6?.

Don't discharge below 3.85 else voltage will drop to 3.2v. I have puffed lipo and when i discharged lipo below 3.85 then voltage of lipo automatically dropped to 3.2v in few seconds. Handle puffed lipo carefully. Always check voltage after Few days. Maintain lipo at 3.85.

mujhe lagta hai ki mujhe apni arduino or other knowledge & skills bhi forum pr daalni padegi.

Sir, I have one original SkyRc Imax B6 Charger. While in Balance charge mode, to set the voltage, it cycles between 2S and 6S.! Can't set 1S.

But in Charge or Fast charge mode you can do it.

I just checked on my imax b6 and its same. Except  balance all other modes have 1S option.
May be it make sense, balance is needed only when there are multiple cells.
So to charge 1s, simply use charge mode with voltage set to 1s.

Balance is the concept of getting the 2 or more cells in a lipo to read same voltages . So no 1s in balance mode.

sorry , I said yes to your question regarding balancing the 1s , for 1s you can charge, discharge and put to storage voltages . Thats all. 

I did not try anything till now with my b6 charger,I lost my adapter and Iam waiting for that 1s charging module to arrive. I did try to charge directly,but it didn't work.

if you have a b6 , you dont need any other module

just using the provided alligator clips and wires, and a couple of jumper wires should be enough , generally .
