Title: In runner and out runner motor

What's the difference between an inrunner motor and outrunner motor ?? Hope it doesn't means indoor and outdoor purpose motors :p

well , that question seems answered too many times in this same forum.
However here it is :
both are brush less motors - and the difference is in position of rotor .
for out runner BLDC, entire outer body is the rotor. and the shaft is also attached to it .

for Inrunners, outer body is the stator and the rotor is inside (as in normal DC motors)

I assume you haven't seen any of these motors ???

And no - They have nothing to do with Indoors or Outdoor :)
