Isn't it affordable to buy a hk used 6ch v2 tx rx for 1800, i can use it for planes also?

you can ve HK Radio, but you shld also include shipping charges plus its really headache to import Radios coz of Customs. You can get Flysky CT6B its low in cost n U can also use it for Planes.

As far as ur boat is concerned U cannot put any motor as such. You shld know what RPM n Power U need. Accordingly you shd decide for the ESC n the battery. You ll get the info over net. PS. Before doing anything get some info over the basics of rc electronics
