HI Everyone.

Can anyone suggest me whether i can buy from china and ship to my address ( India ) . I have no Idea abt custom before, later i realized when the seller from china told me that there is a problem with Custom while shipping to India But they gave me an option of choosing the shipping company .They suggest me to choose EMS instead of DHL i have no clue why there is a problem with DHL and not with EMS. So i stopped planning to buy from China and went down to OLX to find some cheap price as a beginner and i found one seller from Mumbai at a price of 45K in DJI Phantom3, again the problem is will i be able to carry on flight from mumbai to North east india .. I'm a photographer and a film maker and i really need this Drone for my profession .. Please help me and guide me .. Thank Q in advance

M a new comer in this RC field I prefer drone which should be user friendly and ready to fly .. I think DJI phantom 3 standard will suit for me so i decided to buy that one and go for higher version later .
But the case is whether i can carry drone in domestic flight or not . traveling from Mumbai to North East ??

A simple alternative is to send it by SPEEDPOST!

BTW, you dont have to import.
Post 'Want new DJI Phantom 3' on the 'Wanted' board.
You may get many replies!

If you want to buy a drone from china and ship it to India, i suggest trying banggood.com ,they usually sell at wholesale prices and have a warehouse in china. the basic shipping may take quite a while but they have option for insurance.
Also, if you are planning to travel with your drone, make sure that you put LiPo batteries in your carry-on baggage. They can be a serious fire hazard if checked-in. If you want to take you drone as carry-on baggage, then make sure you put the propellers in check-in baggage. Use words like "radio-controlled toy" instead of "drone" when talking to officials about it(just to be safe). Put the drone in a hard case and make sure it is within the airline's permitted carry-on bag dimensions.

You are a beginner and think that a 33k+ drone is suitable to start out with?

First buy a 3k toy quad and learn to fly on that.

Thank q for the site banggood.com never hard of this site before but for me aliexpress is the best choice so far buying from chinese market .. I would recommend aliexpress because it is safe to buy and can negociate the price and good thing is it is safe and secure transaction like ebay paisa pay .. During the past 5 years i bought so many electronic items from this site with no issue at all i meant shipping  ;D Quality as we all knew it .. :banghead: .. but this time when it comes to drone they said they cant ship to india due to security reason .. i did some research and i found most of the buyer had face problem while buying from outside with custom .. it was ok few years ago but this time only government banned importing drone from outside india ...
