It seems to be the problem with your battery. Please let me know the exact ratings of your battery and additionally also provide model numbers of your esc and motors.

Did you calibrate your escs before connecting them to the fc?
Custom Spray painted Flysky TH-9x, RCB6i, FS-T6.
3 x FT Spitfire, FT Storch, nnChipmunk, Hydroplane.
F450 with custom made Multiwii and currently flying on KK2.1.5, Vtail quad with Naze32, Mini Tricopter with Flip32+, Pentacoptor with custom made Multiwii.

Flying is falling with style :D

Is the Lipo at least a 3S one and 20C or more? 1100 mAH won't make your flight long with 850 gms but it should at least lift off if the supplied current is sufficient.

But if it flips then it could be a different issue like wrongly placed props or the ESCs are connected to the wrong connectors etc.

First doubt is the battery for sure.

But still , as you say there is tendency for flipping , check you have correctly installed props according to motor lay out.
Also check motor rotations and ESC to flight controller connections.

No lift and flipping is generally due to wrong props orientation or wrong order of motors connected on outputs, please remember every FC has a different motor numbering scheme make sure you are following  motor numbering scheme of your new FC not the old one.
