I have a Turnigy C3530 1700KV out runner motor and I intend to build a plane in approx 750~850g weight range.
my question is -would an 8x4 prop be sufficient for the purpose?(I want a slow flier)

hi,

from the data seen, this motor is not taking any slow flyer props.

6 x 4 14.4 amps 156 watts
7 x 5 24 amps 251 watts
8 x 6 35 amps 347 watts
8 x 6 35 amps 349 watts

i would suggest that u try a 1000kv motor with a 9x5 or 10x6 prop.

Can you provide the link for this motor's data? Also I already have the motor so I can only vary the prop.
