Built my first plane ever (thanks a ton flitetest.com)

Maidened (and crashed) it a couple of days ago.. The moment it took off was one of the most exciting and nerve wrecking moments of my life.. Couldn't believe how great it flew before I got ahead of myself and crashed it after about 5 mins in the air.. Loved every second of it.. Now fixing it.. Will be back in the air soon..

Hey Cruise.... Your spirit about the whole thing is exciting.  I am sure you will be able to keep it in air next time and land back safe.  By the way.... where did you buy your dollar tree foam..... please let us know

how much did it cost to get these imported.

Each foam kit (no electronics) was $36. Plus about 30% for shipping and customs.

Was my first build ever so decided not to skimp on the foam. Now I feel a bit comfortable trying some locally available materials. Soon. Once I can actually land these things. Especially since both planes are belly landers.
