Hello,

I made a homemade foamcore plane which specs are as follows -

Esc - Hobbywing 20AMP
Motor - Emax CF2812 1534kv
Prop - 8*4 (trimmed down to 7*4 due to small esc)
Battery - 1850mah 11.1v

According to the datasheet the emax cf2812 can life upto 580gms with a 7*4 prop and my plane is only 410 grams but it doesnt seem to lift,
what could be the problem,it is a tractor plane.

Thank you

It looks ugly i know but here are the pictures.

Planes like these, with flat wings, don't produce lift. The usually fly on the thrust of the motor.

1. Have you received the prop saver from Mr. V.K. Singh?

2. What Prop Adaptor are you using here? Is it a snug fit or is there a prop slippage?
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!

I just recieved the adapter\saver thank you for it,the one here is just a diy so doesnt give much needed thrust, could you pm me how to set the new saver on?

Did you hand launch or did you try rolling take off? What makes you say there's no thrust or lift?

Priyum

I tried to roll launch it with wheels ,it runs like a cheetah but doesnt lift

It cannot lift on its own..you have to give a little up elevator since the wing is not airfoil..-hope you are aware of that.
Try hand launching it ...

Make sure there are no vibrations in the motor while throttling up...   motor is fixed firmly
